About Us

Having had personal experience with the debilitating and crippling effects of Malaria, in 1,989 we acknowledged the importance of being able to mass produce and market a range of soap based products that could be used in the prevention of vector transmitted diseases.

In 1,993 SALDER shared its experience in the manufacture of products for the prevention and control of tropical diseases with one of the largest and oldest medical laboratories in Colombia – an arrangement that led to an increase in unit sales of over 1,000% off moderate volumes, exceeding all projections and expectations by both partners.

Since then, NOPIKEX© has grown to become Colombia’s second highest selling insect repellent, enjoying wide distribution through supermarkets, pharmacies, and convenience stores.

Because diseases transmitted by hematophagous insects (mosquitoes, gnats, mites) disseminate in proportions that greatly exceed the capacity for control offered by national and international health organisations; and because it is imperative that the greatest possible number of people have access to adequate protection from these diseases, SALDER has now joined forces with PREBEL  for the exclusive distribution of its products in Colombia.

SALDER’s goal continues to be the distribution of its products on a global scale through local distributors having the necessary infrastructure to bring SALDER’s products to market in their given localities.
